Hey there,

On June 20th and 21st 2009, the Ride to Conquer Cancer will be in your community!

Participants will begin in Vancouver and ride through to Seattle over two-days in a history-making journey to raise money for the BC Cancer Foundation and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer research center in Seattle.

This exciting event has many volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups; and we would love it for you to get involved and to spread the word to others! Opportunities include:

- The afternoon and evening of June 20th in the Mount Vernon, WA Area
o Set- Up Team
o Setting up tents
o Welcoming the riders to the halfway point
o Etc!

- The morning and afternoon of June 21st in the Seattle, WA Area
o Set-Up Team
o Volunteer Check-in
o Working at our General Store
o Traffic and Parking Control
o Information Hosts
o Gear Retrieval
o Bike Parking
o Clean Up
o Etc!

All of our volunteers get T-shirts, snacks, letters of recommendation and thank-you certificates. Volunteers can also take part in our volunteer appreciation party and are eligible to win some awesome prizes!
